Privacy Policy

The Last Will: Inheritance is a puzzle game about wills, family records, and legal deduction. This policy explains how information is handled in the app.

Information We Collect

The app does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information to play.

The app may store gameplay progress, settings, language preference, completed cases, hints, and purchase unlock state locally on your device.

Purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store or Google through Google Play, depending on your device. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

The app may use RevenueCat or a similar purchase service to validate purchases, restore purchases, and unlock purchased content. That service may process purchase receipts, product identifiers, app identifiers, device or installation identifiers, and entitlement status for the purpose of purchase validation and restore.

Advertising

The current version of the app does not display advertising and does not include an advertising SDK. Hints are part of the game and do not require watching an ad.

Analytics

The app sends a limited set of anonymous product events to our first-party analytics endpoint so we can understand where players leave the tutorial and case flow, which assistance modes are used, and whether the optional archive offer works. Events may describe actions such as opening a case, reading a record, binding evidence, using a hint, completing a case, viewing the store, or starting and completing a purchase.

Each installation receives a random identifier generated by the app, and each play session receives a separate random session identifier. These identifiers are not derived from your hardware, Apple or Google account, advertising identifier, email address, or name. Event data also includes coarse app context such as app version, language, platform, game mode, case or record identifier, completion duration, and result counts.

Analytics events do not contain names entered by a player, email addresses, free-form text, contacts, photos, precise or coarse location, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking identifiers. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling across apps, or selling data.

Events are transmitted over HTTPS to infrastructure operated for us by Netlify and are automatically removed after 90 days. A short retry queue remains on the device until delivery succeeds or older events are displaced. Netlify may process limited request and security logs as part of hosting the endpoint under its own service terms.

Children's Privacy

The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Purchase-related data may be handled by Apple, Google, and the purchase validation provider as needed to process, validate, and restore purchases. Anonymous product events are processed by Netlify as our hosting service provider.

Your Choices

You can delete local gameplay data and the locally generated analytics identifier by removing the app from your device. Events already received by our endpoint expire automatically within 90 days. You can restore eligible purchases through the App Store or Google Play account used to buy them.
